El Calafate is a beautiful and small town of approximately 21,000 inhabitants, located just 80 km from the Perito Moreno Glacier, it is also the gateway to discover other glaciers within the Parque Nacional de los Glaciares and because it is close to_cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_border with Chile, it can also be a base to visit the Torres del Peine National Park and Puerto Natales in the neighboring country.
